Breaded Cod Fillet


  1. Cod fillet 200 grams
  2. Lemon juice optional
  3. Salt to taste
  4. White pepper to taste
  5. Breadcrumbs 3 tablespoons
  6. Flour 3 tablespoons
  7. Eggs 2 pieces (small size)
  8. Vegetable oil for frying
  9. Green dill to taste

Frying pan, plate, spatula.


Step 1: prepare the fillet.

Cut the fillet across in half. Wipe with paper towels. Salt, sprinkle with pepper and pour over lemon juice. Leave on 10-15 minutes at room temperature.

Step 2: breaded cod fillet.

Place flour, breadcrumbs and beaten eggs in different plates.
Dip the cod fillet first in the flour so that it covers it well.

Then dip in beaten eggs and at the very end in breadcrumbs.

Step 3: fried breaded cod fillet.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan (quite a lot of oil is needed) and dip the cod fillet covered with breading. Fry over 2-3 minutes on each side to a beautiful golden crust.
Dip after paper towels to remove excess fat and serve.

Step 4: serve the breaded cod fillet.

Serve fried in breading cod fillet hot. It will be especially delicious with delicate creamy mashed potatoes on a side dish. Real jam!
