Tomatoes baked with mozzarella


  1. Tomatoes 4 pieces
  2. Mozzarella 200 grams
  3. Several basil leaves
  4. Salt to taste

Step 1: peel the tomatoes.

Wash and dry the tomatoes with paper towels, cut off the top with the tail, and then cut the flesh with seeds (preferably with a special spoon, but you can just gently with a knife and a tablespoon). Turn the hollow tomatoes downside down to allow the juice remaining inside to drain.

Step 2: chop the cheese.

Dice the cheese. I used two types of mozzarella: regular and in brine. Grind the basil leaves and mix them with cheese.

Step 3: stuff the tomatoes with cheese.

Stuff the tomatoes with cheese and basil, salt and pepper to taste. Stuffed tomatoes in a greased baking tray.

Step 4: bake tomatoes with mozzarella.

Cook in preheated until 180 degrees until the cheese is melted, that is, for 15-20 minutes in convection mode.

Step 5: serve the tomatoes baked with mozzarella.

Serve cooked baked stuffed tomatoes hot or cold, as a snack or a nice addition to the main dishes. Delicious! Cheese combined with tomatoes is simply delicious.
