Homemade bagels (bagels). A simple bagel recipe at home

Ingredients

  6. Salt 1 tsp
  7. Soda 1 tbsp
  8. Poppy 1 tbsp

Add flour, milk, butter, sugar, salt, yeast to the flour. Knead the dough. Leave in a warm place for 30 minutes. My flour was of the first grade, so it didn’t rise much, if you take the highest, then the bagels themselves will be more magnificent.

Rising dough, roll out into thin sausages with a diameter of about 1-2cm. Twist in a pigtail and wrap in a bagel.

Leave for another 30 minutes.

Pour soda into boiling water. Cook the bagels for 20-30 seconds. They will increase in size. Turn over a couple of times during cooking.

Spread on a clean towel. Dip in the poppy and spread on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
