Greek Marinade Chicken Ingredients
- Fresh rosemary (crushed) 1-1 / 2 tablespoons

Step 1: prepare the marinade.
It is better to take fresh herbs, since they can be easily found in the supermarket during the season. Tear a few leaves of oregano, thyme and rosemary, and then chop them very finely.
Peel the garlic cloves and grate them or pass through a press. Pour olive oil here.
Squeeze lemon juice here, as well as pepper and salt the marinade.
With a whisk, mix everything very carefully so that the lemon juice and oil are combined with each other.
Step 2: beat the chicken.
Wash the chicken fillet, wrap in a film and beat each with a hammer. You don’t have to try hard, the thickness of the chops should be about 1-1.5 centimeters.
Before pickling the chicken, pat it dry with towels.
Step 3: pickle the chicken in Greek.
Dip the chicken breasts in the marinade, mix them with tongs.
Cover or wrap and leave on a table for at least 1 hour (but it’s also not necessary to pickle meat for a very long time).
If you are going to pickle 1.5-2 hoursthen put everything in the refrigerator. And be sure to get the chicken in the marinade from the refrigerator for 30 minutes before grilling, so that the meat warms to room temperature.
Step 4: grill chicken in Greek marinade.
Put the fillet in the marinade on a well-heated grill and fry it there until golden brown. The temperature of your grill may vary, my chicken was fried 4-6 minutes from each side.
Turn over carefully with forceps. The main thing is to turn over in time so that nothing burns out.
On the finished filet, the grill pattern clearly stands out.
Step 5: Serve the chicken in marinade in Greek.
Serve Greek-style chicken to the hot table, offering a salad of juicy fresh vegetables as a side dish. For decoration, you can use twigs of fresh aromatic herbs and grilled lemon halves.
