Invisible cake with apples and pears


To make an Invisible Cake with apples and pears:

  1. Apples and pears 800 g (unpeeled weight; only apples or only pears can be used)
  2. Milk 100 gr.
  3. Melted butter 30 gr.
  4. Flour 70 gr.
  5. Baking powder 1 tsp
  6. Egg 2 pcs.
  7. Sugar 50 gr.
  8. Vanilla sugar 10 gr.
  9. Salt 1 pinch


  1. Flour 80 gr
  2. Sugar 30 gr
  3. Vanilla Sugar 10g
  4. Soft butter 40 gr
  5. Salt 1 pinch

1. Beat eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Add milk, butter, flour and baking powder. 2. Pear and apples peel and core. Cut into very thin slices. 3. Grease the mold with butter, line with parchment. You can take a round, square or rectangular shape. The size of my mold is 10 by 22 cm. 4. Dip the slices in the dough so that each slice is covered with dough on all sides. 5. Put apples and pears in a mold, pour the remaining dough on top. Bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180-190 degrees. 6. For shtrezel mix flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, grind into crumbs. Sprinkle the cake with this crumb, bake another 20 minutes.
